Terms of Service
These terms govern remote PC optimisation services ordered from PILOTED. Effective date: 29 August 2026.
1. Provider
PILOTED, SAS established in France. Registered office: 25 Avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris, France — provisional. SIRET: 847 293 651 00028 — unverified. RCS: RCS Paris 847 293 651 — unverified. VAT: FR 84 729 365 18 — unverified. Publication director: Maxime Rousseau (Président) — provisional. Contact: support@piloted.site.
2. Services and prices
PILOTED provides remote diagnosis and optimisation of compatible Windows PCs. The current service levels are Core (€55), Performance (€95) and Max (€159). The description and total price displayed at checkout at the time of purchase control. Any applicable tax is shown before payment.
Recommendations and settings depend on the customer's hardware, software, use case and stability constraints. No specific FPS, latency, temperature or benchmark gain is guaranteed.
3. Order and payment
An order is placed when the customer accepts these terms and completes payment through Stripe. PILOTED then issues an order reference and provides access to the onboarding and Discord support process. PILOTED may decline or refund an order where the requested service is unsafe, technically impossible or outside scope.
4. Scheduling and delivery
The service is delivered remotely at an agreed time. The customer must provide accurate system information, keep a reliable internet connection, create a current backup of important data, remain available during the session and have lawful administrator access to the PC.
PILOTED records the main actions and results in the customer ticket. Recommendations requiring physical repair, replacement hardware or unsupported firmware work may be excluded.
5. Remote access and safety
Remote access is used only with the customer's active permission and for the agreed service. The customer may end the session at any time. PILOTED does not request passwords, payment-card data, browser histories or unrelated personal files. The customer must disclose known instability, overclocking, encryption or recovery-key constraints before work begins.
6. Consumer right of withdrawal
A consumer ordinarily has 14 days from the day after the contract is concluded to withdraw without giving a reason. To exercise this right, email an unambiguous statement to support@piloted.site before the deadline. You may use the model form below, but it is not mandatory.
Unless the customer makes a separate express request for early performance, PILOTED will not begin the paid service before the withdrawal period ends. If the customer expressly requests performance during that period and later withdraws, the customer may owe an amount proportionate to the service already supplied. The right of withdrawal is lost only after the service has been fully performed where the customer expressly requested early performance and expressly acknowledged that full performance would end that right.
Model withdrawal statement: “I hereby withdraw from my contract for [service], ordered on [date]. Order reference: [reference]. Customer name and address: [details]. Date: [date].”
7. Rescheduling, cancellation and refunds
Customers should give reasonable notice to reschedule. Statutory withdrawal and consumer rights remain unaffected. If PILOTED cannot provide the purchased service, it will offer a new appointment or refund the unperformed part. Once a service has been properly completed, a lower-than-expected performance gain alone does not make it defective where no specific gain was promised.
8. Liability
PILOTED performs the service with reasonable professional care. The customer remains responsible for backups, licences, account credentials and hardware condition. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable statutory consumer guarantees. PILOTED is not responsible for pre-existing defects, inaccurate customer information, third-party outages or changes made after delivery.
9. Complaints and dispute resolution
Contact support@piloted.site first so the issue can be investigated. If a consumer complaint is not resolved, the customer may use the appointed consumer mediator free of charge after making a prior written complaint to PILOTED.
Consumer mediator: [TO COMPLETE — NAME, ADDRESS AND WEBSITE].
10. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law. Consumers retain the mandatory protections and jurisdiction rights provided by the law of their country of residence where applicable. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
